Who Owns Simply Fashion Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Simply Fashion Liquidating Trust of the Adinath Corp., et al., Bankruptcy Estates (Simply Fashion) in December 2018.
On April 16, 2015, Simply Fashion and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, jointly administered under Case No. 15-16885. Thereafter, the Court entered an order confirming the Plan Proponents’ Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Trust was created and a Liquidating Trustee was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtors.
