Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the News Publishing Company Bankruptcy Estate (News Publishing) in October 2019.
On January 1, 2013, News Publishing filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, assigned Case No. 13-40002. On April 27, 2017, the Court entered an order confirming the Chapter 11 Plan of Liquidation, which revested all assets in the Debtor.

News Publishing also operated a substantial commercial printing operation.
