Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Hancock Fabrics, Inc., et al., Bankruptcy Estates (Hancock Fabrics) in March 2020.
On February 2, 2016, Hancock Fabrics and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, jointly administered under Case No. 16-10296. On June 20, 2017, the Court entered an order confirming the Debtors’ Second Amended Joint Chapter 11 Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which a Responsible Person was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtors.
