Who Owns Hampshire Group, Limited, et al. Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Hampshire Liquidation Trust of Hampshire Group, Limited, et al., Bankruptcy Estates (Hampshire Group) in December 2019.
On November 23, 2016, Hampshire Group and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, jointly administered under Case No. 16-12634. On September 28, 2017, the Court entered an order confirming the First Amended Joint Chapter 11 Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Trust was created and a Liquidation Trustee was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtors.
