Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the FLYi and Independence Air Distribution Trust in December 2011.
On November 7, 2005, FLYi, Inc. and its related entities (“FLYi”) filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, assigned Case No. 05-20011. A Plan of Liquidation was confirmed and a Distribution Trustee was appointed to wind down the bankruptcy estate for the benefit of creditors.
