Who Owns FIAC Corp., et al., Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the FIAC Liquidating Trust of FIAC Corp., et al., Bankruptcy Estates (FIAC) in April 2019.
On October 10, 2016, FIAC and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, jointly administered under Case No. 16-12238. On August 3, 2017, the Court entered an order confirming the First Amended Joint Plan, pursuant to which the Trust was created and a Liquidating Trustee was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtors.
