Who Owns Beaulieu Liquidating Trust Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Beaulieu Liquidating Trust of the Beaulieu Group, LLC, et al., Bankruptcy Estates (Beaulieu Liquidating) in September 2024.
On July 16, 2017, Beaulieu Liquidating and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, jointly administered under Case No. 17-41677. On May 2, 2018, the Court entered an order confirming the First Amended Joint Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Trust was created and a Liquidating Trustee was vested with the power and duty to administer certain remaining assets of the Debtors.
