Who Owns Asyst Technologies, Inc. Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Liquidation Trust of Asyst Technologies, Inc. Bankruptcy Estate (Asyst Technologies) in June 2019.
On April 20, 2009, Asyst Technologies filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California, assigned Case No. 09-43246. On February 18, 2010, the Court entered an order confirming the Debtor’s Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Trust was created and a Liquidation Trustee was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtor.
