Who Owns Woodlake Partners, LLC Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Woodlake Partners, LLC Bankruptcy Estate (Woodlake) in December 2017.
On September 19, 2014, Woodlake filed a voluntary chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, assigned Case No. 14-81035. On March 19, 2015, the Court entered an order confirming the Debtor’s Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Debtor’s Chief Restructuring Officer was vested with the power and duty to administer the remaining assets of the Debtor.

Opening in 1972, Woodlake operated two golf courses in North Carolina. The two courses had a 1,200-acre lake, which was the centerpiece of the development. Woodlake hosted five straight Texas Open championships.
Woodlake also operated as Magnolia at Woodlake, LLC and Woodlake Properties, Inc.
The former headquarters of Woodlake was located in Vass, NC.
