Founded in 1919 as a small shoe-findings store. TandyCrafts was a maker and marketer of picture frames and wall decor. The company also had a novelties and promotional division, as well as an office supplies division. A breakthrough in business occurred when the company introduced baby moccasins, selling over 3 million pairs. At its peak, the company had more than 2,000 products available to consumers and employed 2,800 people.
