Oak Point Partners acquired the Remnant Assets of the Sunpower Corporation Bankruptcy Estate (Sunpower) in March 2026.
On August 5, 2024, a voluntary petition was filed by Sunpower under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, jointly administered under Case No. 24-11649. Thereafter, a plan administrator was appointed to administer the remaining assets of the estate.
