Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of Sun Coast Hospital, Inc. and Sun Coast Imaging Center, LLC (Sun Coast) in July 2019.
On December 28, 2007, Sun Coast filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, jointly administered under Case No. 07-12926. On October 16, 2008, the Court entered an order confirming the Debtors’ Joint Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which a Liquidating Agent was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtors.
