Who Owns Star Computer Group, Inc. Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Star Computer Group Creditors Trust (Star Computer Group) in December 2019.
On October 12, 2015, Star Computer Group filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, assigned Case No. 15-28100. On June 14, 2016, the Court entered an order confirming the Debtor’s Second Amended Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Trust was created and a Trustee was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtor.
