Who Owns Salander-O’Reilly Galleries, LLC Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Salander-O’Reilly Galleries, LLC Liquidating Trust in March 2017.
On November 1, 2007, an involuntary chapter 7 petition was filed against Salander-O’Reilly in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, assigned Case No. 07-30005. Later on, the Court directed an order converting the case to a voluntary chapter 11 case. On January 20, 2010, the Court confirmed the Third Amended Joint Plan of Liquidation, which established the SOG Liquidation Trust and designated a Liquidation Trustee, charged with winding down the estate for the benefit of creditors.
