Who Owns Pillowtex Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Pillowtex Liquidating Trust in February 2012.
On July 20, 2003, Pillowtex Corporation and its related entities filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, assigned case No. 03-12339. A chapter 11 liquidating plan was confirmed, which created the Pillowtex Liquidating Trust.

About Pillowtex
Founded in 1954, Pillowtex was a large textile manufacturer of pillows, mattress pads and other bedding products. Offering over 10,000 products, the company grew to become the industry leader in manufacturing blankets, pillows, mattress pads, and comforters. The company had a reputation as establishing products, rather than following trends. At its peak, Pillowtex operated 16 manufacturing and distribution facilities and employed over 7,650 people.
Pillowtex operated under several trade names including Beacon Manufacturing, Bigelow-Sanford, Fieldcrest Cannon, Leshner Corp. and Wiscassett Mills.
The former headquarters of Pillowtex was located in Dallas, TX.
