Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Phoenix Restaurant Group, Inc., et al., Bankruptcy Estate in August 2010.
On October 18, 2001, an involuntary chapter 7 petition was filed against Phoenix Restaurant Group, Inc. and its related entities (“Phoenix Restaurant”) in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, assigned Case No. 01-10355. The case was transferred to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, assigned Case No. 01-12036. The case was subsequently converted to a case under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code and a chapter 11 plan of liquidation was confirmed. A Plan Administrator was appointed to wind down the bankruptcy estate for the benefit of creditors.
