Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Liquidating Trust of Pameco Corporation, et al. in February 2008.
On June 3, 2003, Pameco Corporation and its related entities (“Pameco”) filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, assigned Case No. 03-13589. A chapter 11 plan was confirmed, which transferred the remaining assets to a liquidating trust.

Founded in 1931, Pameco was a national distributor of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and refrigeration products. At its peak, the company operated over 200 locations in 48 states and employed 1,500 employees.
Pameco also operated under several trade names including Bellows-Evans, Chase Supply Company, Climate Supply Company, National Temperature Control Centers, Tesco Distributors, Thermal Supply and Westbrook Distributing.
The former headquarters of Pameco was located in Norcross, GA.
