Who Owns Nutritional Sourcing Corporation Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Nutritional Sourcing Corporation, et al., Liquidation Trust in December 2014.
On August 3, 2007, Nutritional Sourcing Corporation and its related entities (“Nutritional Sourcing”) filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, assigned Case No. 07-11038. A plan of liquidation was confirmed, creating a Liquidation Trust and appointing a Liquidation Trustee to wind down the estate for the benefit of creditors.

Founded in 1955, Nutritional Sourcing operated a leading supermarket chain and a video rental store chain in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. At its peak, the company operated 45 supermarkets in Puerto Rico and six in Virgin Islands and employed 4,800 people.
Nutritional Sourcing also operated as Pueblo Xtra and Xtra Superfood Centers, Inc.
The former headquarters of Nutritional Sourcing was located in Pompano, FL.
