Who Owns MediCor Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the MediCor Liquidating Trust (MediCor) in March 2018.
On June 29, 2007, MediCor Ltd. and its affiliated debtors each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, jointly administered under Case No. 07-10877. On November 9, 2010, the Court entered an order confirming the Debtors’ Second Amended Chapter 11 Joint Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Trust was created and vested with the power and duty to administer the remaining assets of the Debtors.
