Who Owns Maywood Capital Corp., et al., Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of Maywood Capital Corp., et al., (Maywood Capital) in April 2019.
On or about February 19, 2005, and on dates prior and subsequent to such date, Maywood Capital and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, jointly administered under Case No. 05-10987. On December 14, 2009, the Court entered an order confirming the First Amended Plan of Reorganization, pursuant to which the Trustee was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtors.
