Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Marsh Supermarkets Liquidating Trust of Marsh Supermarkets Holding LLC et al., Bankruptcy Estates (Marsh Supermarkets) in June 2020.
On May 11, 2017, Marsh Supermarkets and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, jointly administered under Case No. 17-11066. On June 11, 2018, the Court entered an order confirming the Chapter 11 Plan, pursuant to which the trust was created and a Liquidating Trustee was appointed to administer the remaining assets of the trust.
