Who Owns Marbles Holdings, LLC, et al., Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Creditor Trust of Marbles Holdings, LLC, et al., Bankruptcy Estates (Marbles Holdings) in May 2019.
On February 3, 2017, Marbles Holdings and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois, jointly administered under Case No. 17-03309. On August 30, 2017, the Court entered an order confirming the Joint Liquidating Plan, pursuant to which the Trust was created and a Creditor Trustee was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtors.
