Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the KB Wind-Down Trust (KB Wind-Down) in October 2024.
On August 23, 2020, KB Wind-Down filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, assigned Case No. 20-22962. On February 22, 2021, the Court entered an order confirming the Chapter 11 Plan, pursuant to which the trust was created and a Plan Administrator was appointed to administer the remaining assets of the trust.
