Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of Mount Kellett Master Fund I LP and MK Fund I AP SPV LLC with the consent and support of The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company Inc et al., (Great Atlantic & Pacific) in October 2021.
On July 19, 2015, Great Atlantic & Pacific and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, jointly administered under Case No. 15-23007. Thereafter, an Authorized Signatory was appointed and charged with winding down all of the Debtors.
