Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the GNI Liquidating Corp. Bankruptcy Estate (GNI Liquidating) in June 2017.
On October 14, 2014, GNI Liquidating filed a voluntary chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, assigned Case No. 14-30963. On August 10, 2015, the Court confirmed the First Amended Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Collateral Trust (the “Trust”) was established and the Plan Administrator was vested with, among other things, the power and duty to administer the remaining assets of the Debtor.
