Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the EOGH Liquidating Trust of the EOGH Liquidation, Inc. f/k/a East Orange General Hospital, Inc., et al., Bankruptcy Estates (EOGH) in February 2019.
On November 10, 2015, EOGH and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, jointly administered under Case No. 15-31232. On August 25, 2016 the Court entered an order confirming the Joint Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Trust was created and the Trustee was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtors.

Founded in 1903, EOGH operated an acute, 211-bed care hospital in Essex County, NJ. The hospital was formerly known as Homeopathic Hospital of Essex County and changed its name to East Orange General Hospital, Inc. in 1938. The multifaceted community hospital specialized in hemodialysis/nephrology, hyperbaric/wound care, medical/surgical, and behavioral and family health.
EOGH also operated under several trade names including Essex Valley Healthcare, Inc. and Essex Valley Medical Transportation Services.
The former headquarters of EOGH was located in East Orange, NJ.
