Who Owns Corporate Resource Services, Inc., et al., Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Corporate Resource Services, Inc., et al., Bankruptcy Estates (collectively, “Corporate Resource Services”) in November 2021.
On July 23, 2015, Corporate Resource Services, Inc. and certain of its debtor affiliates (collectively, “CRS Debtors”) each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, jointly administered under Case No. 15-11546. On August 21, 2015, the CRS debtors’ bankruptcy cases were transferred to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York and jointly administered under Case No. 15-12329. Thereafter, a trustee was appointed as Chapter 11 trustee of the CRS Debtors’ estates and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of Corporate Resource Services.
