Who Owns Commerce, LLC Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Commerce, LLC Bankruptcy Estate (Commerce, LLC) in May 2018.
On February 15, 2013, an involuntary petition was filed against Commerce, LLC under chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland, assigned Case No. 13-12598. On March 14, 2013, the Debtor’s involuntary chapter 7 bankruptcy case was converted to a chapter 11 bankruptcy case, and on May 9, 2013, the Debtor’s chapter 11 bankruptcy case was converted back to a chapter 7 bankruptcy case. Thereafter, a trustee was appointed to liquidate the remaining assets of the estate.
