Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the BCDG Priority and Unsecured Creditors Trust (BCDG) in January 2019.
On November 18, 2016, BCDG filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Iowa, assigned Case No. 16-02263. Thereafter, the Court entered an order confirming the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors’ Combined Plan of Liquidation and Disclosure Statement, pursuant to which the Trust was created and the Liquidating Agent was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the assets of the Debtor.
