Oak Point Partners is a private investment firm specializing in the purchase of:

• Remnant Assets (i.e., any remaining known or unknown intangible assets)
• Default Judgments from Preferences and Avoidance Actions
• Highly-Aged Commercial Receivables or Historical Write-offs
• Class Action Settlement Claims

We provide an outlet for bankruptcy trustees, creditors committees and counsel, secured lenders, restructuring officers, and business managers to turn their non-performing or remnant assets into cash.

Oak Point created the concept of the “Remnant Assets” purchase to assist Trustees and Plan Administrators in generating additional cash for creditors by selling the rights to remaining “cats and dogs” in a bankruptcy estate for cash, even in situations without any remaining known assets of value.

We are willing to either purchase portfolios outright for cash upfront or work them on a contingency basis where we keep a percentage of the recovery.
