Janice has over 14 years of legal and financial management experience. Prior to joining Oak Point, Janice practiced as an attorney, with a concentration on commercial bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, and creditors’ rights. She has represented debtors, financial institutions, unsecured creditors’ committees, trustees, and asset purchasers in a variety of insolvency matters including complex chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and related transactions and litigation. She began her legal practice at D’Ancona & Pflaum LLC, and has been associated with the boutique bankruptcy firm of Shaw Gussis Fishman Glantz Wolfson & Towbin LLC and, most recently, the Chicago law firm of Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP.
