Brian Boorstein, Partner (Chicago)

Brian has over 20 years of experience in private equity and general finance. At Oak Point, Brian focuses on asset acquisitions. Prior to Oak Point, he helped to found and grow three private equity groups (Montana Street Holdings, Dakota Capital Partners and Heller Equity Capital), which invested over $600 million of capital in 34 platform companies.

Brian began his career in private equity with one of the largest and most successful investment firms in the country, Golder Thoma and Cressey. He also worked as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch Capital Partners.

Brian has an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
